Winwallus conseilla à Théophilus d'ouvrir la porte dans le mur de soutènement avec la clé de Gradlon au moment le plus haut de la marée, et ainsi déclencher le déluge pour purifier Ker-Is.

Gradlon entrusted a duplicate of the key to this door to Winwallus who found there the means to accomplish the will of his god.
The spring tide of the fall equinox was approaching and there was every indication that a strong storm would come from the west.
Winwallus advised Theophilus to open the door in the retaining wall with Gradlon's key at the height of the tide, and thus trigger the flood to purify Ker-Is.
