Ce dessin est bien sûr basé sur le célèbre fol. 7v du livre de Kells: Marie avec l'enfant Jésus et quatre anges.
Au lieu d'un enfant ressemblant à Barney Laroche, j'ai posé le chat de Dahut sur ses genoux et je l'ai entourée de ses compagnons de voyage.
L'instrument entre les mains de Khosrow est un kamancheh. Cet instrument a probablement son origine dans l'ancienne Perse et est toujours joué, entre autres, par le virtuose Kayhan Kalhor, dont la moustache a modelé celle de Khosrow.

This drawing is of course based on the famous fol. 7v of the Book of Kells: Mary with the child Jesus and four angels. Instead of a Barney Rubble-like child, I put Dahut's cat on her lap and surrounded her with her travel companions. The instrument in Khosrow's hands is a kamancheh. This instrument probably has its origin in ancient Persia and is still played, among others by the virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor, whose mustache has modeled that of Khosrow.
